John has been in the tax and financial services industry since 1976 and is a member of The Institute of Certified Financial Planners, The NJ Society of CPAs and his local chapter of The Lions Club International, where he currently serves as their treasurer.

 He has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1978 and a Certified Financial Planner (CFPÒ) since 1990.

John specializes in developing financial strategies for physicians, business owners and high net worth individuals. He is also an expert on Income Tax savings strategies for physicians.

John is a 2 time FIVE STAR Wealth Manager SM and a “Lion of the Year” award recipient.

He has participated in numerous seminars on topics such as: Tax Saving Strategies, Educational Funding, Estate Planning, Financial Planning, Asset Protection, Pension Planning, Investment Planning, Life and Disability Insurance.

Community Service: He currently serves as treasurer of both his local church and the local chapter of the Lions club.

He has been a resident of Monmouth County, NJ since 1985. He started his tax and financial consulting practice in New York City in 1984. His practice was expanded to the Monmouth County area in 1994, where the office is now located in Tinton Falls, NJ. Clients can still meet with him in New York City as well.

 


 

Anthony has been in public accounting since 2009. He worked at numerous CPA firms before joining the Mezzasalma Advisors team.

Education: Anthony is a graduate of Monmouth University where he earned a BS in Accounting graduating Sum Cum Laude. He also earned a Bloomberg Certification and minored in information technology.

 Accomplishments and Awards

 Anthony earned his CPA designation in 2009 and achieved an average score of 95% on all 4 parts of the exam. Anthony has been named one of the 30 Most Influential NJ CPAs Under 30 by the NJSCPA. He was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society.

Professional Organizations and Community Work

Anthony is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). He is involved with the NJSCPA's pay-it forward program and NJSCPA E-Young CPA Writers Pool.

Anthony stays active with his Alma matter by appearing on campus as a guest lecturer and is a member of the Monmouth University Accounting Advisory Council. This committee is designed to help reengineer and improve the Monmouth University accounting program curriculum and foster relationships between the University accounting faculty and accountants in industry/public accounting.

Personal Interests: Anthony plays the piano at his local church. He also enjoys snowboarding and bike rides with his wife who is also an accountant.
